bandini technique also known as tie and dye

These skirts are made of bandini technique also known as tie and dye commonly. It is a painstaking effort which is not easily done by machines..yet. The garment is first sewed and then the design is worked in. The artist pinches of skirt fabric in an orderly way to create a pattern and ties them tight with thread and then dips one half of the skirt into one colour. It is let to air dry. And then dips the second half of the skirt to create a beautiful colour combination. Tie and dye bandini skirts are usually done with bright cheerful colours and are a favorite among Indian village women.
This skirt also has sequence work sparkling all over the skirt

The skirt comes with a draw cord to adjust size. free size can be customized anywhere from size XXS-size XL.
Can be customized for length...please ask!

These pretty skirts are perfect for summer wear with any top or tee- best with white tshirt. It works as a beach cover up too. Some fancy ones can be worn for events and parties too!
