Our History 

             Shama Boutique today is the outcome of aspiration, education and experience. After formal education in masters in textiles and clothing , dip. masters in fashion designing and masters in computer applications the company operated in a freelance mode since 1994 making custom designed clothes.  The company opened their first design studio in Eden Prairie, MN in the year 2000 that offered custom made designer inspired traditional Indian attires and home furnishings. Soon the company's business flourished under the label of 'Shama Designs'.             


          After years of maturing 'Shama Designs boutique' was established in 2005 in Shakopee, MN where Shama Designs Boutique diversified into wide range of sarees, salwar kameez, lehenga cholis, accessories. In 2013, Shama Boutique entered the World Wide Web and ventured into online shopping via Facebook using social marketing media and have eventually kicked off their ecommerce to reach niche clients throughout the whole world via www.ShamaBoutique.com in 2014.....and more milestones to be added as the years roll by...
