These skirts are hand made
It is a painstaking effort which is not easily done by machines..yet!. The garment is first sewed and then the design is worked in. The artist pinches of skirt fabric in an orderly way to create a pattern and ties them tight with thread and then dips one half of the skirt into one colour. It is let to air dry. And then dips the second half of the skirt to create a beautiful colour combination. Tie and dye bandini skirts are usually done with bright cheerful colours and are a favorite among Indian village women.
As is, the skirt fits from Size XXS to waist size 34 inches. The skirt comes with a draw cord to adjust waist size. It also has a zipper on the side seam.
For narrow or wider waist size,the skirts can be customized anywhere from size 32-size 50 at waistline for $10.
Length also can be customized for $10.
